BMW of Escondidos crossover lineup is expanding with the release of the 2013 BMW X1 and X6. The BMW dealer already sells the popular X3 and X5 models but is excited to add to its already expansive inventory.
BMW released the 2013 BMW X1 to the United States this year. The X1 crossover has been sold in Europe since 2009, but hasnt been offered in North America until now. In addition to the 28i trim, BMW has released a North American exclusive 35i xDrive trim, featuring a potent twin-scoll turbo 3.0-liter six cylinder pushing out 300 horsepower. BMW of Escondido expects its own debut of the X1 fairly soon.
Also recently released, the 2013 BMW X6 combines the styling and performance of a coupe with the all-conditions driving capabilities of a sports utility vehicle. The X6 50i xDrive muscles a powerful 400 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque with its twin-turbo V8. The X6 35i xDrive still boasts 300 horses.
Already unveiled at BMW of Escondido, the 2013 BMW X3 is the sportiest of the crossover lineup without compromising any all-roads functionality. Available in 28i and 35i, the X3 earned an impressive second place in the most recent J.D. Power and Associates APEAL study for entry premium crossover/SUV.
Also available at the San Diego area dealership, the 2013 BMW X5 is available in five trim levels: 35i, 35i Premium, 35i Sport Activity, 35d and 50i, all with xDrive all-wheel drive. Emphasizing safety, comfort, and luxury, the X5 has become the face of the large crossover while the X3 reigns in the smaller class. The xDrive50i ponies up at 400-hp with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and an eight-speed Sport automatic transmission with manual shift mode.
