The Corporate Learning Institute (CLI), an organization committed to helping corporations achieve their goals and improve performance through teamwork, leadership, coaching, and changing management strategies, is proud to offer the Managing Change Workshop.
CLI has designed an effective change management workshop to help your employees through the emotional transition from what was to what will be. The Managing Change Workshop is based on the three-phase process developed by William Bridges, Ph.D., whose book, Transition the Personal Path through Change, integrates DiSC insights to help people transition effectively. Dr. William Bridges defines the three-phase process through change as:
Phase 1: Endings: Every transition begins with an ending, a loss. When things change, people leave behind the way things were and the way they were in the previous situation. They may be left searching for a new way to define themselves.
Phase 2: The Neutral Zone The neutral zone is a confusing in-between state, when people are no longer who and where they were, but are not yet who and where they're going to be. Although the neutral zone can be distressing, it also provides many opportunities for creative transformation.
Phase 3: New Beginnings new beginning can only happen after people have let go of the past and spent some time in the neutral zone. In this phase, people accept the reality of the change and start to identify with their new situation.
This change management workshop offers your organization everything needed to help maximize employees potential by focusing on the benefits associated with change and minimizing
the risk of failure associated with implementing change. A personal learning guide actively engages participants in self-directed study and one-on-one coaching in large or small group workshops.
For the Managing Change Workshop we suggest an organizational assessment as well as developing a change management plan that aligns to your organizations strategy, vision, mission and values. Some of the key learnings and program outcomes include:
Explain how to react positively to change.
Introduces a practical, guided process through the three phases of transition.
Uses a user-friendly, interactive workbook that personalizes learning.
Incorporates Disc, a proven approach to understanding emotions and behaviors in changing situations.
