The 2013 Buick Enclave took was named the Crossover Utility Vehicle of Texas, a category that the TAWA called enormously competitive. The 2013 Enclave was about to beat out other competitors from Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Infiniti and Volkswagen among others.
The original Enclave was a catalyst for the Buick, defining the brands high standards of design and refinement, said Tony DiSalle, vice president of Buick Marketing. The new 2013 model takes another step forward with a bolder look and advanced technologies.
The 2013 Buick Enclave was also ranked as the best Full-size Luxury Crossover, but Buick didnt have all the fun.
A couple GMC vehicles also ranked among the top in their respective segments, according to TAWA. The 2013 GMC Acadia won the Full-size Crossover segment and the 2013 GMC Terrain came out on top in the Mid-size Crossover category.
These latest awards for Enclave, Acadia and Terrain come from one of the nations largest and most-important vehicle markets, said DiSalle. Texas drivers are also some of the most demanding especially when it comes to utility vehicles so this is high praise.
The 2013 Buick Enclave and 2013 GMC Acadia are set to arrive in dealerships in the coming year, but the 2013 GMC Terrain is already available.
