The Slasher Sales event has been going on annual at Steven Toyota in Harrisonburg, Virginia for nearly 15 years. They claim it is the biggest used car sales event of the year; but it only runs for one day: Saturday September, 15th.
The Slasher Sale is unlike most car dealership sales events. Here is how the event will work: On Saturday morning at 9 a.m. all used vehicles will be opened, allowing buyers one half hour to inspect them before the sale starts at 9:30 a.m. Whoever is sitting behind the wheel of a vehicle when we post the prices on the windshields will be given first opportunity to purchase the vehicle at the sale price.
Every hour Steven Toyota will be slashing prices down even more. The dealership will sound a horn which will signify that prices have been slashed. However, here is the real head turner: at least two cars will be sold for 5.
Some other great deals going on at the Slasher Sales Event this Saturday are a 1994 Mercury Sable for only 985 and a 1997 Toyota Camry for only 3,495. Its easy to see why this event is called the biggest of the year.
