The iFLOAT is the brainchild of Fabrice Moreau. Fabrice has been involved in swimming for a large part of his life, including international and domestic coaching, implementing swimming programmes from water babies to adults in large organisations and swimming at a national level in France.
When his children entered the world Fabrice naturally wanted to take them to the pool and teach them to swim at an early age. It didn't take long to realise that with multiple kids splashing around and only one set of eyes, ears and arms to supervise, going to the pool was a challenge. Fabrice went in search of something to help with floatation and water confidence for the kids but didn't find what he wanted on the market. So, taking the bulls by the horn, Fabrice developed
his own prototype.
With the number of sideways glances and comments about the great little "floating ring" he whipped up in the back shed, Fabrices' drive to produce a personal floatation device for the world grew and it wasn't long before the iFLOAT was born.
The more Fabrice looked into drowning statistics the stronger his desire to produce the ifloat became. So with the help of his wife Kerri, they have embarked on the road of drowning prevention.
