Participating in the Chevrolet Youth Soccer Program, Bill Shultz Chevy put on a free soccer clinic at the McChesney Park in Port St. Lucie last weekend. On Sunday, September 9th, Bill Shultz Chevrolet, in concert with the South Florida Chevy Dealers, sponsored the free soccer clinic for children in the local community between the ages of 6 and 14 years old. Hosting the event was the MAKO Soccer Club, also sponsored by Bill Shultz Chevrolet through the Chevy Youth Soccer Program. The MAKO Soccer Club is known for harboring a family friendly environment where youth development can take place and the Love of the Game can be found.
Coaching the event were the internationally recognized group known as UK ELITE. This group of professional coaches and instructors are selected from across the United Kingdom for their integrity, professionalism, ability to act as a role model, and wealth of soccer knowledge and experience. These licensed and certified coaches helped local children to improve their skills on the pitch and learn how the game should be played. UK ELITE is putting on clinics throughout the Southeast region with the Chevy Youth Soccer Program on behalf of Chevrolet and its dealer network.
Bill Shultz Chevrolet tries to give back to the local community in many ways and is always in support of our local sports and youth clubs. This past weekend at the free soccer clinic, many children got the chance to learn more about the game they love or to be introduced to a completely new sport. Throughout the clinic, participants had the opportunity to meet new and different peer, discover a new sport, and enjoy some great weather. Water breaks were scheduled throughout the clinic to ensure hydration and free Chevy Youth Soccer t-shirts were provided for participants to wear and keep.
