Internationally-acclaimed Mexican Actress Fernanda Romero best known for her multiple roles in films like Without Men opposite Eva Longoria and The Eye with Jessica Alba, returns to her roots of fashion with her new project Sartorial Babylon- a hip, chic, avant-garde and innovative blog.
Sartorial Babylon- is best described as A little piece of our world that encapsules the universe of fashion and culture according to us by its three lead contributors. The bi-lingual blog, which is scheduled for an early September release, will closely follow the lives of these three LATINO personalities, as they parlay in their careers and share their daily experiences, favorite products and hangout places. Each will expose their personal style through snapshots and their love for fashion.
Teaming up with Romero, is Multi-Media Journalist and TV personality David Gonzalez- a contributing Entertainment reporter for KBLR-Telemundo Las Vegas and Cine Movie TV. Gonzalez has been praised in the media for his witty commentary and daring fashion choices by artists like Trey Songz, Estelle and Project Runways Tim Gunn. He will direct the TV segment portion for the site entitled Sartorial Babylon: Closet Confessions. The video segments will spotlight both mainstream musicians and actors in the comfort of their closets or trailers as they share their personal fashion choices.
Also in the team, is wardrobe stylist and up-and-coming fashion designer Natalie Mena. Mena has styled the likes of ABCs Brothers and Sisters Dave Annable and Odette Yustman as well as TV personality Vanessa Minnillo and Mexican actress Diana Garcia. She is in the midst of launching her own clothing line later on this year.
They collectively will utilize their expertise from all sides of the industry to present you Sartorial Babylon in September 2012.
Thus far, their respective Twitter account has a garnered the attention of over 6,000 followers including media heavyweight Perez Hilton, Fashion Designer Santino Rice and power fashion blogger Pelayo Diaz.
