3. They'll have another reason to use their parents' iPhone
Why Parents Love the LaLa Lunchbox App:
1. The app eliminates the stress around what's for lunch
2. Shopping trips are a breeze because of a simple, easy-to-use shopping list generated by selected items
3. Kids learn about balanced meals as they plan their own lunches
How It Works:
With LaLa Lunchbox, kids first personalize and design their lunchboxes with fun monsters and colors. Then, they can plan a weeks worth of lunches by selecting items from a large selection of fruits, vegetables, proteins, and snacks.
Parents can easily edit the items available to their kids tooadding favorites or deleting any selections that should be avoided due to allergies, dietary restrictions or other reason. The app then generates an easy-to-use shopping list.
LaLa Lunchbox was created by MBA mom and healthcare professional Gillian Fein, who was looking for a system that would make planning lunches for her school-age daughter easier.
As a mom of two young kids, I know that getting children to eat balanced meals is invariably a struggle for all of us at some point, says Fein. But when kids have a say in their meals, they feel empowered and less food is wasted and unwanted. Families who use LaLa Lunchbox will give their children the opportunity to plan healthy lunches and will feel less friction around this issue as a result.
LaLa Lunchbox is available now on the iTunes Store for 1.99 (itunes.apple.com/us/app/lala-lunchbox). Images available upon request.
