CHICAGO, Ill., July 17, 2012 Chicago-based @properties continues its push into the north suburbs, acquiring a seasoned eight-agent brokerage in Winnetka. Chambers Cross Associates joined @properties Winnetka office Thursday, says @properties cofounder Thaddeus Wong.
The merger boosts the number of @properties Winnetka agents to nearly 100 since the firm opened opening an office there in 2010, Mr. Wong says. Cheryl Chambers said she founded her group in 1992 as Continental Real Estate and was attracted to @properties advertising support and exposure to downtown Chicago. Her group will continue to display its own branding
in addition to @properties, she says. Ms. Chambers and Mr. Wong decline to disclose terms of the merger.
