There are more android applications now that we can count, here is however a brief description of some that are very useful for all those IT professionals.
1: ConnectBot
you can use this open source client to remotely connect that is if you know how to use Linux, the cornerstone for all this android development, and now its base as you would know. No need to get on the desktop or boot up your laptop. You can be the admin, maintain, or troubleshoot tasks via the main command line. It now also supports local connections as well making it easier to do all that with your Android device.
2: AndFTP
You can use this FTP/SFTP/FTPS client to download and also upload files to perform almost every administrative tasks from your Android device. It also features a cool resume support plus you can also do renaming, deleting, updating permissions, and running custom commands. You can also send files via email, messaging, Bluetooth, and via other applications
3: Linux
If you liked or loved working with Linux servers, you can use this simple monitoring application to remotely keep an eye on the vitals and things
like : CPU load, RAM and disk usage, and network/port activity. Stats are represented in numbers or via progress bars.
4: Server
This simple monitoring app can alert you if a server or a certain component or a port of it that goes down. its great if you don't already have a monitoring/alert system put into place or if you want something new and more powerful. You add a server hostname or IP address, and then you can optionally add specific components or ports to monitor,
