United States (FreePressBox.com) Jul 25th, 2012 --

Ray Motor Company in Hillsborough, NC is pleased to announce that Ford will hold charity events across the country in conjunction with Feeding America to help provide meals and to showcase the all-new 2013 Ford Escape. Ford is calling this the 2013 Ford Escape Hunger Drive.

At these events, participants will get to experience the new Ford Escape, while also helping to feed those in need. For each guest attending each event, Ford will help provide 40 meals to Feeding America. In total, Ford is expecting to help provide more than 1.2 million meals to Feeding America.

Crystal Worthem, Ford Brand Content and Alliances Marketing manager, said, Ford has always embraced helping people in need, and this is a good way to give back to the community, while simultaneously showcasing the all-new Escape. For the first time, Ford is linking its charity support with bringing a new vehicle to market.

Information on organizing an event can be found at http://www.escapehungerdrive.com. Ford will be fully supporting all the events by providing an Escape along with an expert to help explain the attributes of the new sport utility vehicle, including the hands-free liftgate, EcoBoost engine, Blind Spot Information System, and Active Park Assist.

Vicki Escarra, president and CEO of Feeding America, said, We at Feeding America are proud of our longstanding relationship with Ford. Ford has a history of merging transportation with hunger-relief efforts, and we are grateful they are extending that partnership linked to the 2013 Escape to help us get food to millions of families struggling with hunger.
